[EmergingEthnoNetwork] The Research Cooperative

Dear Emerging Ethnobiologists,

I just wanted to draw your attention to a project that I am collaborating on founded and managed by a fellow ethnobotanist, Dr. Peter Matthews at the Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan.

He has created a research network that is designed to help facilitate science communication and collaboration on a human scale. There are currently more than 5,000 users, many of whom are in the field of ethnobiology or sister disciplines. So, I hope you will consider joining us on the network and helping us to expand and evolve.

We are always seeking new members and, especially, new volunteers. Right now we are also undertaking a funding campaign on Rocket Hub and you can see the link on our main page. Of course, it is not necessary to contribute in order to join the network and we are mainly hoping to get the word out right now and receive more input to improve the network and its services. But, if you are able to contribute, any small amount is appreciated.

Best wishes,

Julia
