RE: [EmergingEthnoNetwork] Oceans2012 job



Hi everybody,

Thank you "EmergingEthnoNetwork" for spreading interesting announcements.

Anyway, after reading the application form for "Ocean2012 job", I must say that I found it quite shocking : even if the answers are optional, I can't see what's the point of asking appliants about their sexual orientation, religion and "ethnic origin" - wich sounds not scientific at all and quite ethically doubtful, to say the least.

If people really matters for these economists, I think they should consider people regardless to the sexual orientation, belief, disability, color of the skin and "origins".

Sorry if you find this message useless, but I just can't keep silent about this kind of obnoxious discrimination. I hope you'll understand, or agree !
