Joe,
did you see the posting about the University of Hawai'i Manoa ethnobotany and conservation field school in Kauai in January for 6 weeks for grad students (I assume that's what you mean by post-grad, which in the US is after your 4 yrs of college)?
or is that not exactly what you're looking for?
More on the systematics and ID side of tropical botany there's U of Florida Walter Judd's tropical botany class at Fairchild Garden in Coral Gables near Miami or Organization for Tropical Studies many tropical botany classes.
Hope that helps!
Take care,
Nat

Hi all,
I'm on the hunt for field courses in tropical botany, preferably run out of a university/affiliated body, aimed at postgraduate students, and run over a relatively short timeframe (i.e. 5 weeks or so). I wonder if anyone has any suggestions, recommendations, or hot tips about where to have a look? Thanks in advance,Joe McCarter
