Dear all,

These scholarships are primarily aimed at UK/EU citizens, who pay reduced fees for degrees. If you have any bright students interested in environmental anthropology, ethnobiology or anthropology and conservation, please alert them to this opportunity!

50th anniversary scholarships - School of Anthropology and Conservation, University of Kent. These scholarships are open to all applicants for a PhD wishing to pursue research in the following fields: social anthropology, environmental anthropology, biological anthropology or biodiversity conservation. We also welcome strong applicants who wish to undertake interdisciplinary projects that bridge two or more of these areas of research and that capitalize on complementary supervisory expertise within the School. Successful applicants will be exceptional scholars who will be expected to engage positively within a thriving research community and act as ambassadors for the School and University. The Scholarship will cover tuition fees at the Home/EU rate plus a maintenance grant.
