Consultant for Marine Reserve
Global Ocean Legacy is looking for an exceptional individual for the position of Senior Consultant to work in Bermuda with appropriate Bermudian Government officials, elected leaders and Bermudian and international NGOs and donors to plan and deliver in collaboration with them, a work programme leading to the designation of a large and highly protected marine reserve in the Sargasso Sea. Experience/residence in Bermuda is required.

NERC departmental studentship: Past environmental change in the Amazon basin
Work on some of the oldest Quaternary sediments recovered from Amazonia.
Gain experience of fossil and geochemical methods of reconstructing past environmental change.
Apply Ar-Ar methods to obtain radiometric dates.
