[EmergingEthnoNetwork] Funding alerts through COS

Finding adequate funding for planned research endeavours can be a real challenge, especially for young scientists. A useful tool to get alerts for upcoming funding opportunities is the Community of Science (COS) webpage: http://www.cos.com/
Amongst other services, you can setup a funding alert profile, specifying what type of funding you are interested in and they will send you a weekly e-mail with the latest opportunities (their database apparently contains 25,000 records worth over $33 billion). This is an excellent service, which can help especially young researchers to get more familiar with funding opportunities that are out there but one might have never heard off!
