[EmergingEthnoNetwork] Coastal biocultural diversity session at the 2012 International Congress of Ethno

Dear Emerging Ethnobiologists,

In this spirit I am seeking expressions of interest for participation in a dedicated coastal biocultural diversity session at the 2012 International Congress of Ethnobiology

At this stageI do not have a draft theme for the proposed session.
Given the incipient activity of marine issues in this society, I can propose four topics
A)Land/Sea Tenuer and policies
B) Interactions between researchers, local actors, and other stakeholders
C)Local food systems
D) Conservation.
I think ethnobiology is a great arena for voicing out the problems of coastal communities, and the subject and goals will be greatly strengthen with our participation.

Please drop me a line by return email to discuss your proposed paper and how we might progress form here.

Please feel free to pass this proposal on to anyone you think may be interested.

Looking forward to hear from you.
