To all Terralingua Board members, Collaborators, Staff, and Advisory Panels;
This is a call for submissions for our next Issue of Langscape, Terralingua's newsletter. We are seeking articles, stories, photographs and news.Deadline is Novemeber 10. The main theme: Biocultural Diversity of Western Canada, Coastal BC
For a little more background information here: Langscape has grown over the years to be somewhat of a specialized e-zine, that we put out twice a year. (As opposed to the Terralingua e-news, which is a monthly bulletin that we send out to all members with news updates.)
In the expansion of Langscape, we would like to show a multi-faceted view of biocultural diversity, We would like to include: scholarly articles and reports, traditional stories and art. As the editor, I also look for those small nuggets of information, such as quotes, that illustrate interesting points in Traditional Ecological Knowledge, and language. The photographs are something that makes these issues special.
All submissions will be copyrighted and only used for their intended purpose. Though, we send out Langscape in .pdf format, many of us will print out our own copies to read at our leisure, in this case please send images in a 300dpi resolution.
Again, the deadline is November 10, however, please let me know of your intent to submit as soon as you can, so I am able to set spaces in my layout.
